Being an Active Trader myself, I do get to record some trading sessions live, and few I use Playback to showcase how the strategy performed. It helps with:

  • Learning the market structure when the bot outperformsĀ 
  • Acquiring knowledge based on my insight and observations after having traded with the Bot in live sessions
  • Understanding parameters, and gaining confidence to step into the world of systematic trading

As you watch these videos, do not focus much on the P&L, but more on where the bot takes the trade, and where it ignores it. Bot only provides a statistically improved entry. Other half is your Order Management Template that decides what happens to your trade after you enter.
